HOW TO GET THERE

Need to plan your journey to Barry Island on Saturday May 21? Here are details of public transport and places to park...

FROM PENARTH...
You will need to catch two trains - first to Grangetown, then to Barry Island - Leaving Penarth station at 03/18/48 minutes past hour, and the last direct train leaving the Island at 22:45

FROM LLANTWIT MAJOR...
You will need to catch two trains - first to Barry station, then Barry Island - leaving Llantwit Major station at 56 minutes past each hour, and the last train leaving the Island at 21:56

FROM CARDIFF...
Train from Cardiff Central station to Barry Island departing at 10/25/55 minutes hourly, with the last direct train leaving the Island at 22:45

PARKING...
If you're coming by car, there is a large car park on Barry Island which costs up to £6 for a full day (8am - 11pm). There is also free parking available by Barry Docks station, with trains going from the Docks to Barry Island at 14 / 29 / 44 minutes past every hour.
