Unfortunately, following weeks of uncertainty, we have reached the difficult decision not to offer childcare services over the Summer Holidays.

We feel that the guidance available does not outline clearly enough how to facilitate our provision safely. Our priority at all times is to put the children’s safety and enjoyment at the forefront of all that we do, and we feel we cannot achieve this under the current circumstances.

Despite the demand for holiday care in the area being low at the moment, we fully understand that this decision will cause inconvenience and further challenge for some of you, and for this we can only apologise.

However, we are still committed to offering Welsh medium activities for children over the Summer holidays and we’ll be shifting our focus to providing as many stand-alone activities and open access play opportunities as we can facilitate. We are exploring different options at the moment and are hopeful, if guidance allows, that we will be able to offer our ‘BWRLWM’ play scheme over the weeks to come. We will also be delivering online workshops for children, young people and adults and will keep you posted about all of our activities through social media and our newsletter.

We thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time, and we look forward to hopefully welcoming the children back to our care scheme in the Autumn.
