New Welsh Day Nursery in the Vale?
Needs Assessment Survey for a Welsh-medium Day Nursery in Barry
We are working in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council to measure the demand for a Welsh-medium Day Nursery on the site of Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg, Colcot Road, Barry. This would be the Vale's first Welsh Day Nursery offering excellent early years care for babies and pre-school aged children under the care of our qualified and experienced staff in an attractive, friendly and Welsh environment.
About this Nursery:
- Open Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6pm, for 52 weeks of the year
- For babies and children aged 6 weeks - 5 years old
- Capacity for 36 children
- Employment for 10 members of staff
- Training and work experience opportunities through the medium of Welsh for Childcare students
- Could offer a wrap around service according to demand
- Will offer competitive fees in line with similar local provision (£45 - £50 a day based on 2017 prices), and will register to accept Childcare Vouchers
